If you have tinkered on my blog, you will see that I started wrighting this back in 2020. Wow, five years have come and gone. In the blink of an eye, the girls have grown, along with myself, I’m also five years older…BOOOOOOOOOOOO. Can’t help to laugh and smirk at the same time. The challenges we faced in the past, are old memories and now, of course, there’s new ones.
However, I know I’m not at this alone, the old is gone. Everything is new. What’s in the past is in the past. Jesus has replaced our old with His new: new peace, new understanding, new joy, new love, new friends, new mindset, new health, and new strength. He has restored me as a new creation.
Every morning the slate is wiped clean. We get another chance to be kinder, more loving and understanding. I’m so thankful that he is the God of grace. I pray God gives me the spiritual eyes to see myself as a new creation this morning. To see past the guilt of yesterday’s choices.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
