Freeze-dried strawberries are our favorite snack. So last year we purchased a freeze dryer from Harvest Right. Thinking we were going to use it for all these healthy yummy fruits, I was really excited. Then the girls got an idea to start their candy business, with mom as the main “product tester”. The shift from fruits to candy has kind of gotten us in trouble, well me, actually.
We have always been a label-reading family. No dyes/artificial stuff before being bland was cool. Welp, it’s inching closer to Easter, and Peeps are my absolute favorite. As I was sitting in the kitchen being love-bombed by Lilly, I looked down and joked about the extra layer of fluff around my waist. I told her, “Look what sweets and TWINS did to me,” and without missing a beat, she looked at me so puzzled and asked, “Twins? What twins?” I told her, “Lilly, I know you have a short-term memory, but this is ridiculous; you and your sister!” Oh my goodness, she busted out laughing with that beautiful infectious smile—that sweet, sweet smile—and hugged her mama.
My cup is full. Before God formed Jeremiah in his mother’s womb, He knew him. God separated him from everyone else to perform a specific task. We can confidently say that if He did that for Jeremiah, He did it for each one of us. The sweet innocence of our circumstances is no surprise, He knew everything before we were born. We are set apart for a specific calling and uniquely made.
Before I formed you in the womb I knew and approved of you, and before you were born I separated and set you apart.
